Halo’s Pillar of Autumn recreated out of LEGOs

Nice, now make a real one -- life sized.

What are you doing with the next three and a half years of your life? How about the next $7,000 you come in contact with? Spending it on LEGO of course.

Now, you might be thinking — why would I do that or how many LEGOs would that even buy you…? Well, there's no answer for the why part, but there is an answer to how many LEGOs that would get you.

About $7,000 will get you enough LEGOs to build the UNSC's Pillar of Autumn from Halo. We know this because Lee Jones, the man that built Tolkien's Balrog and Neo and Agent Smith's final battle. The ship is about 7 feet long and 220lb and it's going to be destroyed. Jones showed it off at an event and on the way home the Pillar of Autumn suffered extensive damage. Enough damage to result in its destruction, but Jones promises a new ship from another game will come.
