A livestream with Bravely Second producer, Tomoyo Asano, has confirmed that a familiar heroine from Bravely Default will be taking one of the lead roles in the sequel and we finally got a peek at what she looks like.
Edea Lee, will have aged slightly from the previous game and is the leader of the Imperial Guard knights.
It hasn't been revealed whether or not Edea will be playable, but we do know she will be wearing that fancy blue ribbon. The first look at Edea came to us from Famitsu, who also revealed that Edea will be judging Asterisk holders that appeared in the previous game. It was also reported that will be a new feature in Bravely Second, the "Barter Sub-Scenario System." Unfortunately, all we have at the moment is a first look, additional information should be released shortly.
Bravely Second will release in Japan on April 23, 2015 for Nintendo 3DS.
