I think it's safe to assume that of all the players clashing on the gridiron this Sunday, Marshawn Lynch and Rob Gronkowski may be the two biggest personalities (though Lynch's may not show up during media events).
Since both players are offensive studs for their respective team, we'll never actually get to see them go head-to-head this Sunday in Super Bowl XLIX. So Conan O'Brien — aka the Clueless Gamer — has a better way to determine who reigns supreme. A battle in Mortal Kombat X.
Hey, if you can't determine a winner on the field, might as well turn to one of the best fighting game series ever. Conan is no stranger to video games, though he is pretty clueless when he attempts to play them. Lynch may get a lot of flack for refusing to speak to the media, but he sure looks pretty open and comfortable (and funny, even) here. And Gronk, well, I think we all know he's crazy.
Whether or not the trio will spend more time playing Mortal Kombat or advertising for Lipitor (the erection medicine?) remains to be seen, but based on the teaser clip, it's going to be funny either way. This might be more entertaining than the Super Bowl itself.
