League of Legends champion Sona, has been gifted an Ultimate Skin from Riot Games, DJ Sona. In 2012, the first Ultimate Skin made an appearance – Pulsfire Ezreal. The Ultimate Skins aren't like other skins, they of the highest tier and offer a whole new set of animations, models and sound effects.
The DJ Sona skin has overhauled the animations, appearance and the music, with the biggest emphasis on music.
The skin will replace League of Legends' in-game music with music that was created specifically for the new skin. Riot collaborated with Nosaj, Pretty Lights, Dada Life, Renholder, Crystal Method and Bassnectar to create three unique songs; Kinetic, Concussive and Ethereal.
Players will be able to toggle between songs, but only in a specific order: Kinetic → Concussive → Ethereal → Kinetic
Each time the song is changed, so does Sona's skin. You can check out the three evolutions of the song in the image on the upper right. In addition to the three songs (and three skins that come with them), team mates will be able to tune into what track Sona is playing by toggling a button on the in-game scoreboard.
Here's the Ethereal song:
The skin is $25.
