Disney Infinity 2.0 Princess Jasmine review

Princess power!

There are many ways to describe the Princess Jasmine figure/character for Disney Infinity 2.0. Wonderful! Magnificent! Glorious! Punctual!

Punctual? I meant, uh, beautiful!

Nice recovery aside, Jasmine is a welcome addition to the Disney Infinity lineup. Like all other Disney Infinity figures, Jasmine's figure and artwork as incredible.  She is the fifth official Disney princess added to the game — with others being Merida, Rapunzel, Anna and Elsa — but the first of the classic animated princess that you think of, being in the league of Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Snow White.

Jasmine attacks enemies with whirlwind attacks and magic carpets. She shoots out a magic carpet that creates a whirlwind in its path for her ranged attack. I would say that her melee attacks (which ends with a little kick/magic carpet attack) are a bit less powerful than her ranged, as when she's powered up she annihilates enemies. Jasmine's special move is called Windstorm. When Jasmine collects enough purple special power orbs, she summons a might windstorm with the magic carpet that damages and lifts up anyone in its path. Her skill tree is pretty basic and along the lines of most figures. Go upward and you can give her fast speed, and you eventually get to her super jump ability.

Overall, the Jasmine figure/character is great. Not only is her artwork awesome, but she has some really great, powerful attacks. I don't think the animations and effects are as impressive as some other characters in the game, but they still are nice to watch.

Jasmine works only in the Disney Infinity 2.0 Toy Box mode.
