Rumor: Fallout 4 will be revealed at E3 for current-gen consoles and PC

It would be nice see this rumor prove to be true.

Last month it was revealed that Bethesda will be hosting their first-ever E3 conference in June. As the announcement made its rounds, the various Bethesda gaming communities began to rally. Did this mean a new Fallout game was coming? A new DOOM? Elder Scrolls?

There has been no confirmation from Bethesda on what game(s) they will be showing off during the event, but an "insider" claims that one announcement will be for Fallout 4.

The insider has suggested that Fallout 4 will be developed with the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in mind. The setting for the game is a toss up between a post apocalyptic New York and Chicago, developed with an “impressive scale and atmosphere." Again none of this information has been confirmed by Bethesda and likely won't be until they announce it at E3 (if they announce it).

If Fallout 4 is revealed during E3, when will it be released? Sources are claiming that Bethesda will be aiming for Spring 2016, because 2015 is too "crowded."

Lately, the tinfoil hat news has been through the roof, but at least this isn't a rumor about another HD remake for the PS4 and Xbox One. And at least it's not Half-Life 3.
