The MMORPG game that looks to challenge the traditional core conventions of most MMO's is going on sale for a price that is very, very hard to deny. The Digital Heroic Edition of Guild Wars 2 is available for $10 (usually $40) this weekend and the Deluxe Edition is available for $15 (usually $60).
The Digital Heroic Edition comes with the game, a suit of Legacy Armor, a Mithril Box and 10 Experience boosters. The Deluxe Edition comes with all of that plus the 'Summon Mistfire Wolf Elite' skill, a miniature Rytlock, Golem Banker, Chalice of Glory and Tome of influence (all of which are in-game items).
If you have yet to play Guild Wars 2 and are into MMO's, this is definitely the time to pick it up. The game does not have a monthly subscription fee, has fast-paced combat rife with dodges, and is constantly updated. Guild Wars 2 is founded on a living world concept, in a way episodes of the game's story are added over time through updates.
In the near future, the game's first official expansion, Heart of Thorns, is releasing and will be adding even more features and story to this awesome game. The expansion will add a new MOBA inspired PvP game mode and a new profession (class) that is a melee/ranged hybrid.
