Ubisoft released today a brand new trailer featuring gameplay footage from the alpha version of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege.
The premise of the trailer is to highlight Rainbow Six Siege's brand new operator system.
Operators are specialists from the world’s top Special Forces units and masters in their respective fields. Each has their own unique expertise which adds a new tactical layer to the Siege experience and pushes team play even further.
Ubisoft says players must put together these operators "to create their best CTU (counter-terrorism unit) composition and defeat the opposing team." A livestream featuring an exclusive look at new cotnent, including the operator system, will be hosted today at 11:00am PT (2:00pm ET).
Rainbow Six: Siege was first unveiled at Ubisoft's E3 press conference back in 2014. The trailer showed off intense multiplayer gameplay in which a group of players part of CTU had to work together to rescue hostages from another group of terrorist players. Since then, not much has been shown regarding the multiplayer first-person shooter; however, a closed beta for the game is planned to arrive on Xbox One and PS4 later this year. Sign-ups for the beta opened last week.
