The new Assassin's Creed game is set to be revealed next week on Tuesday, May 12th, but details about the game have already started to leak.
For starters, it's being reported that the game will officially be called "Assassin's Creed: Syndicate" which is different than the rumored "Assassin's Creed: Victory" we heard earlier this year. Leaked marketing material does confirm that it'll take place in London; however, it'll be set during the Industrial Revolution "where they will find themselves immersed in a game world they'll have to see to believe."
The game's star assassins will be named Jacob Frye, according to the material, and anyone who pre-orders the game at GameStop will receive an Assassin's Creed: Syndicate shilling necklace. It's supposed to be a replica of the one worn by Frye in the game.
Keep in mind, as legit as all of this seems, it has yet to be confirmed by Ubisoft which will reveal the new game at 12:00pm ET on May 12th during a livestream.
Today, the official Assassin's Creed website was updated to include an image of brass knuckles along with various messages — "God Save the Queen" and "Strength Through Loyalty" — carved into wood. The word "Rooks" is featured above the brass knuckles with a picture of a bird carved next to it. On the brass knuckles reads the phrase: "Strength Through Loyalty." And finally, in the background you hear the sound of church bells ringing, a train horn, and various chatter in what sounds like a bar or pub.
