With leaked Xbox One footage of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt hitting the internet, developer CD Projekt RED has decided to give fans a more official look.
Although the leaked video was only offered in 720p, CD Projekt has maintained Wild Hunt will be at least 900p on Xbox One. The developer confirmed today, however, that a day-one update will bring dynamic scaling from 900p to 1080p on Xbox One. A new gameplay video captured directly from the Xbox One version to show off the scaling was published today.
"The video you’re now watching is grabbed directly from an Xbox One console," CD Projekt RED said of today's video.
"We’ve been working to give gamers an even better experience on Xbox One and, on day 1, we’ll bring you dynamic scaling from 900p to 1080p. We’re not much more than a week before launch, but we’re still fighting for every line of code — we want gamers to get the best possible experience we can deliver."
Today's video follows on the heels of CD Projekt's announcement that pre-orders for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt have already surpassed one million units worldwide. It's a great start fo the highly-anticipated, open-world RPG that's due out on May 19th.
