X-Men: Apocalypse marks the end of contracts with Professor X, Magneto actors

Michael Fassbender willing to do more films though

X-Men: Apocalypse will mark the end of a number of contracts for the trilogy's main actors; James McAvoy (Professor X), Michael Fassbender (Magneto) and well, basically everyone. Jennifer Lawrence has already officially stated that her role as Mystique would end with Apocalypse, while others have kept silent on the subject — but they won't be for much longer.

Hugh Jackman has revealed that the third Wolverine will be his last time acting as the character. Whether or not he will return for Apocalypse has yet to be confirmed, but a casting call did suggest it (and Gambit, as well).

Michael Fassbender, who has been acting as Magneto since the series reboot in 2011, revealed to Variety that the series contract was a "three film deal" and Apocalypse is "the last of that." While Apocalypse may very well be the end, Fassbender is "curious to see what happens next." He is open to reprising his role saying, "I will shoot a hundred of them."

Good, I like you Fassbender.
