Destiny Weekly Reset (6/16/15): New Strikes and Prison of Elders Arenas

Time to take on Skola's w

With all of the excitement surrounding E3 and the announcement of Destiny's new expansion, The Taken King, it's easy to forget that today is Tuesday — which means it's for new strikes, a new rotation in the Prison of Elders arena, and new inventory for Variks.

The Heroic Strike this week is The Nexus on Ishtar Sink, Venus, with the Heroic (enemies appear in greater numbers and are more aggressive) and Grounded (players take more damage while airborne) modifiers.

The Nightfall Strike is The Will of Crota on Ishtar Sink, Venus, with the following modifiers:

  • Epic – Heavily shielded and highly aggressive enemies appear in great numbers.
  • Nightfall – If all players die, your Fireteam is returned to Orbit.
  • Angry – Minions of the Darkness won't flinch, even after massive damage.
  • Juggler – No ammo drops for your equipped weapon.
  • Void Burn – Void Damage from any source is greatly increased.
