The days of playing cards and messenger bags are over for Club Nintendo, and soon the service as a whole will take after the physical awards and be removed entirely. As in, real soon.
Consider this your final reminder that Club Nintendo is about to disappear for good and you only have a day left to redeem whatever coins you have left for digital rewards. There's a fair selection for owners of current- and past-gen Nintendo platforms, including Virtual Console titles, eShop downloads, digital versions of retail games, as well as (forgotten) WiiWare and DSiWare releases. Oh, and that weird one-off tribute to Nintendo's past that no one cares too much for.
Don't forget, you can redeem 250 coins on N64 titles for the Wii, download them using the built-in Wii Menu on the Wii U, then head to the Nintendo eShop for a discount on the Wii U version if they're available — which Super Mario 64 and Paper Mario are.
If you're still unsure what to spend your coins on, here are some suggestions:
- Kid Icarus: Uprising – 700 Coins
- The Wonderful 101 – 600 Coins
- HarmoKnight – 300 Coins
- Earthbound – 250 Coins
- Dillon's Rolling Western – 250 Coins
- Art Style: CUBELLO – 200 Coins
- Tokyo Crash Mobs – 200 Coins
- Sakura Samurai: Art of the Sword – 200 Coins
- Looksley's Line Up – 200 Coins
- Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins – 150 Coins
But we all know Paper Mario: Sticker Star is the best option here. (Not really.)
