This is a pretty big month for Sony. Not in a whoa-look-at-all-those-blockbusters kind of way, but it actually has a decent amount of games coming out this month.
Everything from sweet 2D fighting games, to JRPGs, racing games and more. Let's check out the full list!
Also, those with PS Plus accounts, can look forward to these games when they release next Tuesday.
Ar nosurge Plus: Ode to an Unborn Star – July 2 – Vita
This title has seen a release on the PS3 back in 2014, and is now heading to the PS Vita. Acting as a prequel to the Ar Tonelico series, it's also the continuation of the Ciel Nosurge title which was released in 2012. Players will assume the role of either Cas and Delta, or Earthes and Ion on a quest to find a song of protection, which was apparently stolen and used to cause machines to go haywire.
Skullgirls 2nd Encore – July 7 – PS4
The fantastic 2D fighting game that features a cast of ass-kicking females is now finally coming to the PS4. The game will now include all of the characters including DLC, as well as having a fully voiced story mode, cross platform play between other PlayStation devices. 2nd Encore will also include a slew of challenge modes that will put players' skills to the test.
F1 2015 – July 10 – PS4
You enjoy open-wheeled racing sims? Then get excited! The popular racing game from Bandai Namco is making its yearly rounds with F1 2015 with accessible difficulty levels for newcomers, as well as realistic sim modes for seasoned veterans.
Godzilla: The Game – July 14 – PS4
Become the King of the Monsters as you take on other giant monsters in the first Godzilla game in… well forever! Smash and blast other monsters in King of the Monsters mode or wreak havoc in Destruction Mode.
God of War III Remastered – July 14 – PS4
The third game which featured Kratos' unquenchable thirst for violence is now coming to the PS4 with upscaled visuals and smooth 60 frames per second.
Take on titans and eventually Zeus himself. If you somehow missed this title back on the PS3, then you owe it to yourself to check it out.
BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma EXTEND – July 28 – Vita
If you like technically impressive 2D fighters that happen to be gorgeously drawn, then look no further than the BlazBlue series. This latest edition of BlazBlue will extend the storyline as well as include an extra playable character. What's more, PS3 and PS4 players will be able to battle against each other, though this is not supported in the Vita version.
Lost Dimension – July 28 – Vita
In this Atlus tactical RPG, you'll be tasked with not only trying to save the world from an alien force that's trying to destroy it, you'll be trying to pick out traitors from your own group of people. Oh what's that? Thinking of just reading a guide to make sure you pick all the traitors correctly? The joke's on you, since after the first one, they're all randomized.
