The PS4 physical copy is one of the most requested rewards on the Shenmue 3 Kickstarter, and now it has been confirmed. All backers who pledge $60 or more will be sent a survey after the Kickstarter wraps up. Through this survey, backers will be given four options for their copy of Shenmue 3:
- PS4 Physical Copy
- PS4 Digital Copy
- Windows PC Physical Copy
- Windows PC Digital Copy
Not including the trial version, backers will be limited to one copy of Shenmue 3, be it digital or physical. if you previously pledged for the PC Physical Copy, you will not need to alter your pledge in any way, as your copy will be determined by your response to the Kickstarter's closing survey.
Odds are good that the PS4 physical copy will end up being the number one choice for backers. While having more options is always nice, it's hard to imagine either digital copy being a common choice given the physical releases are special editions that come with a special case sleeve.
