You can basically get a brand new Xbox One for $160

GameStop sweetens the Xbox One Summer Sale deal with $40 gift card

Retailer GameStop is turning up the heat on its Summer Sale, adding the incentive of a $40 gift card to the purchase of any new Xbox One system.

Keep in mind, this new promotion stacks with GameStop's current offer of $150 in-store credit toward the purchase of a new Xbox One or PlayStation 4 when you trade in your Xbox 360 (250GB or greater) or PlayStation 3 (120GB or greater).

With the Xbox One Halo: The Master Chief Collection Bundle starting at $349.99, this means you'll be paying $200 for a new Xbox One, a free copy of Halo: The Master Chief Collection, and get $40 in-store credit which can be used towards the purchase of another game like Batman: Arkham Knight, Grand Theft Auto V, or whatever floats your boat.

Factoring in the store credit, it's really like you're only spending $160 on a brand new Xbox One. Add in the value of Halo: The Master Chief Collection and it's like you're only paying $110. Of course, this is all applied credit; you still need to pay the cash.
