There's no question that graphical fidelity in video games is at an all time high, at times teetering into the realms of ridiculously lifelike. Apparently one representative from Nissan thought that much about a few images of Driveclub tweeted at them by a fan.
A twitter user known as Chris tagged both the legendary car manufacturer and Driveclub in a tweet with the phrase, "innovation that excites", Nissan's advertising slogan along with a few screenshots from the video game. The images were so convincing that the rep apparently thought these were real life photography stills, replying, "Awesome shots! Did you take these photos?"
The rep was quickly alerted that these were not real life images and took it in stride remarking "Ha! Didn't look closely enough apparently! Graphics these days are ridiculous!"
Despite the various issues Driveclub has had, there's no questioning how beautiful the game looks.
