Major Nelson announced on his blog today that the Xbox One will be getting new features added today. Nothing too eye popping has been added, only some behind the scenes features primping and priming the console for some upcoming additions. With Windows 10 launching this month, the Xbox One was updated to allow streaming from PCs to the console as well as get the backend infrastructure set up for the new backwards compatibility feature.
Currenty, only preview members can access the backwards compatibility feature in the My Games and Apps section but all users will be able to access it in a few months. Some other updates announced by Microsoft as well that are coming in the future include Cortana integration and a new community section as well. No sexy, user based features are included though. Sorry all. But hey, get ready because in about a month the Windows 10 cross play and streaming will be here!
Yesterday, Microsoft kicked off the Xbox Ultimate Games Sale, offering discounts to more than 70 games across Xbox One and Xbox 360.
