When Star Wars Anthology: Rogue One was made official, we wondered what this film meant for the fate of Boba Fett. Sources close to Bloody Disgusting have emerged revealing the Rogue One will not only include Boba Fett, but will have other bounty hunters maker their return, as well as introduce a new villain.
The new villain is said to be played by Ben Mendelsohn, who played John Daggett (technically Roland Dagget) in The Dark Knight Rises. Who is the villain? A brand new Grand Moff (remember Grand Moff Tarkin? Yeah, one of those types).
Mendelsohn's Grand Moff will be amongst bounty hunters who are looking to 'quietly retrieve the stolen Death Star plans at all costs.' This is where today's Darth Vader rumor fits in nicely, apparently once Vader realizes that the plans have been stolen he joins in on the hunt as a supporting role.
The source went on to say that this would be Fett's re-introduction before his solo-film.
