Have been pumping out animated film adaptations of classic books, such as Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns and Batman: Year Zero. This announcement comes just in time for the 75th anniversary of the character. So why is this important to us as fans?
Hahaha

Well, as Arkham Knight fans this should be extremely exciting because this is the origin story of Barbara Gordon as Oracle. Considering that she is a huge focus in the most recent game this could shed some serious light and cross over magic between the worlds of gaming and animated film. Movie fans will be able to see on screen the material that Heath Ledger and Jared Leto we're given to portray this seemingly all evil villain. With the recent releases of more violent and darker themed films, it's finally time to tackle this one. Killing joke

The film is set to be released in 2016, so grab your comics and your jaw off the floor, and get ready for awesome to ensue.
