Skyfall director done with Bond films after Spectre

He says that now, but will does he mean it?

Director Sam Mendes won't be continuing his adventures with the James Bond once Spectre releases. Acting as a director on the Bond films is not a job, it's a 'lifestyle choice,' according to Mendes and it's a lifestyle that he's done with.

"I don’t think I could go down that road again," said Mendes during an appearance on the BBC's cricket broadcast, Test Match Special. "You do have to put everything else on hold. It really is more of a lifestyle choice than a job."

Spectre is a bigger movie than Skyfall, it has taken the crew around the globe – perhaps making it more trouble than Mendes wanted. "This is a bigger movie than Skyfall. It’s shot in more places. We were in Mexico City and Tangiers and northern Sahara and Rome and the Alps and London. It was an enormous undertaking."

Daniel Craig, Christoph Waltz, Monica Bellucci and Lea Seydoux will be appearing in SPECTRE on November 6, 2015.
