Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’s Shadows of Evil Zombies designed with tons of replayability in mind

Treyarch: 'The deepest, most intricate realization of the Zombies experience to date'

In a newly released video, Treyarch's Jason Blundell, director of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3's Shadows of Evil, talked a bit more about the depth and replayability of the game's highly anticipated Zombies mode, calling it the "deepest, most intricate realization of the Zombies experience to date."

In the interview, Blundell explains that the content in Shadows of Evil is so rich that it's designed for multiple playthroughs.

"For the city, for the combatants against you, for the easter eggs laid through there, through the weapons, through the interplay and the dialogue which reveals lots of story things if you're a zombie guy and you're into the narrative and where we're going in which, we very much are — all that stuff is led in and you can't get that in a single playthrough," Blundell explained.

"We design it and create it with that kind of mentality, which is we're expecting people to be drawing new information and getting new stuff after their fiftieth playthrough."

In addition to the new Shadows of Evil map, Treyarch and Activision are also offering fans who pre-order the special edition versions of Black Ops 3 the new Giant Map, a remake of Treyarch's classic "Der Riese" Zombies map.
