Check out some insane speed runs in Summer Games Done Quick

And contribute to Doctors Without Borders

If you enjoy watching insane speedruns of your favorite games, chances are you've heard of Games Done Quick, a bi-yearly event which brings together top speed runners across the country and has them beating numerous games in crazy short times. Summer Games Done Quick, or SGDQ has just started on Sunday, and will be hosting numerous speedruns every day until August 1st.

Want to check out what's being played? Check out the official schedule to see if something catches your eye, or simply tune in on the official page and watch these crazy players beat games incredibly fast.

These events are also accepting donations which go directly to Doctors Without Borders, which should make you feel less bad for not paying attention to your day job as someone finishes Castlevania 2: Simon's Quest in under an hour.

Doctors Without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontières) is an international medical humanitarian organization providing aid in nearly 70 countries to people whose survival is threatened by violence, neglect or catastrophe, primarily due to armed conflict, epidemics, exclusion from health care, natural disasters, or malnutrition. MSF provides independent, impartial assistance to those most in need. MSF reserves the right to speak out to bring attention to neglected crises, to challenge inadequacies or abuse of the aid system, and to advocate for improved medical treatments and protocol. In 1999, MSF was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for its work.
