Madden season officially kicks off today with the release of Madden NFL 16. This year's installment of EA's annual football game promises new features to truly show off your playmaking capability — especially in the passing game.
New tools have been created for QBs, receivers and defenders, giving you the ability to make plays on both sides of the ball. Quarterbacks are now capable of throwing new types of passes, while recivers can play the ball in different ways either to maximize yardage, secure the catch, or try and wrestle the ball away from the defender. On defense, you can now try to play the ball for an interception or play the receiver in attempt to break up the pass.
Off the field, the new Draft Champions offers players a shortened Fantasy-type experience as you spend 15-rounds drafting players for key positions and then playing a mini-series of games with that team. When you're done, you simply start over.
Of course, the usual slew of features and modes return in Madden 16 with their own set of improvements. I suggest checking out our review to see if Madden 16 is worth the upgrade.
