September 2015’s Games with Gold announced for Xbox One and Xbox 360

Microsoft is getting its users ready for Rise of the Tomb Raider

A day after Playstation revealed it’s lineup of free games for September, Xbox Live’s Major Nelson made a post on his blog about the upcoming titles that Xbox users can expect to get next month.

Leading the charge on Xbox One is Tomb Raider: The Definitive Edition, which released back in January of 2014 to the tune of an average score of 86 on Metacritic. The reboot of the classic franchise proved to be a massive success in both its original release and its Definitive Edition so much to the point that Microsoft shelled out more cash to ensure that the sequel, Rise of the Tomb Raider had a timed exclusivity deal.
 
Also on tap for the Xbox One is the Kickstarted indie game, The Dear God, a pixelated 2-D platformer that explores that seeks to challenge your views on religion by exploring the themes of karma and reincarnation.
 
The Xbox 360 is also getting some solid titles this month as well in Battlestations: Pacific and Crysis 3.
 
Battlestations: Pacific is a an action and real-time tactics game that lets players explore that battles over the Pacific from the perspectives of the Americans and the Japanese.  Players can command over 100 different types of air, land and sea vehicles as they take part in decisive battle for supremacy.
 
Crysis 3 is the third entry of the popular PC shooter franchise, and the second Crysis game to be released on consoles.  Crysis is a Sci-Fi First Person Shooter series known for its incredibly sexy graphics, strong level design and environment scope.
