South Park: The Stick of Truth developers want to make an Archer game

Sploosh.

The developers behind South Park: The Stick of Truth want to make an Archer game and have wanted it to become real for years. If Obsidian was able to make this happen, we could look potentially be looking forward to multiple delays, woohoo!

On a more serious note, The Stick of Truth was a great adaptation of the South Park show, it kept with the humor and the aesthetics which would be extremely important in an Archer game.

In 2010, Obsidian released a game that had some spotty reviews, but collected its own following – that game was Alpha Protocol and it was a spy based action RPG. Perfect for Archer. "I don't think people really thought about it, or at least not seriously, until after Alpha Protocol shipped," Obsidian project director Josh Sawyer told PC Gamer. "But it has come up actually several times of people saying, 'yeah, that would be a good fit. Archer Protocol!'"

Now, if Archer was made into a game there would have to be exactly one alligator level, one space level, an ocelot, tactical sweaters and a ton of Krieger.
