Sphero, a company that specializes in remote controlled robots, has brought our new favorite droid to life. It sits in perfect balance as you control its movements across the room. The head is a strong magnet that holds in place even if your piloting skills aren’t the greatest. The head is easy to reattach to the body in the event of a technical malfunction which makes this toy an engineering masterpiece.

This bed is twin-sized is meant for kids; but, you don't have to be a kid to think it's awesome. Pottery Barn released this for Force Friday and it's the stuff nerd kids dreams are made of. The bed's interior features a control panel and "straight-from-the-set-details." Where was this when I was a kid?

This NERF gun is almost an exact replica of one of NERF’s current models with the exception of a Star Wars logo and a 12 round magazine. There’s also the addition of a shorter barrel, shoulder support, and scope. This thing is fifty shades of awesome. And a lot of parts are detachable to make it different sizes. Hopefully you have better luck hitting your target than a Stormtrooper.

These babies go back to the 70’s and were a smash hit when the first wave of films came out. They were produced by a company called Kenner and now Hasboro has taken the torch. There’s a multitude of them including Rey, Finn, Kylo Ren, and the new storm troopers. These guys come with a standard weapons accessory as well as a second custom weapons accessory.  If you’re looking for a little more detail in your hand-sized toys, the six inch figures from the “Black” series will include the cast from the new film. These include Finn (Jakku), Rey (Jakku) with BB-8, Kylo Ren, Captain Phasma, First Order Stormtrooper, Chewbacca, Poe Dameron, Constable Zuvio, and more.

Yesterday marked the first annual Force Friday, a brilliant marketing tactic by Disney in which they teamed up with Target, Hasboro, Amazon, Walmart, Toys R US, and a few other retailers to deploy new, exclusive Star Wars-themed products for the public to purchase. In honor of Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens, here are seven of the coolest Star Wars toys release on Force Friday.

This thing is amazing. Following in the footsteps of last year’s LEGO Death star set, the LEGO Millennium Falcon is a must have for LEGO fans. This set includes six mini figures including Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, Chewbacca, Ben Kenobi, Princess Leia Organa, and Darth Vader. The model features an opening hull, detailed interior, twin flick missiles, rotating laser cannons, detachable cockpit cover, chairs, cup, control panels, and a game board. It measures over 15 inches wide and 4 inches tall and has 1,254 pieces.
