Rumor: Marvel’s Moon Knight to appear in Netflix series

Which series? Who knows! It's a rumor after all.

Marvel's Moon Knight might not be one of the most talked about heroes, but he's definitely a cool one. Marc Spector (AKA Moon Knight) is a mix of everything, he has been described as "part Jason Bourne, part Batman, and part Tony Stark" for good reason.

The guy has a huge ego, he's a deadly fighter (former U.S. Marine), and a was a CIA operative (which makes him a bit of a detective). Marc's story is crazy, after leaving the CIA he dies and comes back to life stronger than ever (depending on which phase the moon is in) and works as a bit of an anti-hero, but a hero none the less.

According to  Heroic Hollywood’s Umberto “El Mayimbe” Gonzales, Moon Knight is getting the "back door pilot" treatment at Netflix – which means (if the rumor is correct) he's going to make some kind of appearance in another major series as a sort of proof of concept. If Moon Knight goes over well with fans, he might get a standalone show or film — who knows.

Years ago we wrote about why Moon Knight deserves his own movie and while we still stand behind that – a Netflix series wouldn't be too bad either.
