That feeling of a sharp pointed edge digging into the sensitive underside of your feet is enough to make even the strongest of grown men crumble to the ground in writhing pain.
French advertising agency Brand Station understands your pain, which is why they've created special protective LEGO slippers. Sure, I suppose regular shoes could do the trick, but these slippers have been specially designed for those specific moments you find yourself fumbling in the dark — which is when most injuries from LEGO pieces result from.
The squard-off slippers are interchangeable between your left and right feet, and feature a massive ammount of padding on the soles to protect your feet from even the most dastardly of LEGO pieces.
The specially-designed slippers were unveiled last week. According to French blog Piwee, only 1,500 pairs have been produced and will be given away at random to those who fill out a Christmas wish list on the LEGO France website.
As for the rest of us, may God have mercy on your feet.
