Overwatch’s biggest beta test yet starts tomorrow

Time to get in on the action.

Blizzard took to BlizzCon with a number of Overwatch announcements at the beginning of the month, one of which was that there was a bigger beta coming. Well, it's time for that beta to kick into gear and this time, it's bringing a lot more players that the Closed Beta from October.

The beta will be available between Friday, November 20th at 9:00 AM PST through Monday, November 23rd at 9:00AM PST. While this Beta is bigger than the initial Closed Beta, it's still still invitation only – everyone that is in the Closed Beta will have access to this Beta, and new participants (selected by Blizzard) will be notified cia email or the Battle.net desktop App.

If you're selected for the Beta, you'll see an Install button appear in the Overwatch tab of your Battle.net desktop app, as well as an Overwatch Beta license in the YOUR GAME ACCOUNTS section of Battle.net Account Management. Blizzard notes that the email invitation will arrive slower than the Battle.net invites – so keep your eyes peeled.

If you want to opt into the beta, go to Battle.net and make your way to your Beta Profile Settings page in Account Management. Check the "Overwatch" box under "Beta Tests I'm Interested In," and then click "Update Preferences." If that's too much for you, you can also sign up by clicking here.

Heads up, Overwatch is coming to the Xbox One and PS4, but it's not free-to-play.
