Before the Rock Bands and the Guitar Heroes, Harmonix made a little game called Amplitude, where you'd remix and also play along famous songs. The gameplay looked like an arcade shooter of sorts, but really it was just a really cleverly designed rhythm game that had you switching tracks which would correlate with different instruments and vocals. Now, Amplitude is coming back to the PS4.
Amplitude will be releasing on January 5, 2016 on PlayStation 4 and will retail for $19.99, and will feature over 30 songs. What's cool about the soundtrack is that it's entirely original, mostly produced in-house by Harmonix, but will also consist of guest artists such as C418 (Minecraft), Danny B (Crypt of the Necrodancer) and Jim Guthrie (Sword & Sworcery).
