Within a month of revealing the Star Fox Zero release date, the game was delayed until Q1 2016. Shortly after the delay was announced, Nintendo announced that the game would be hitting the Wii U on April 22nd, 2016. According to a French retailer, the game isn't releasing in April anymore.
French retailer Micromania (via WCCF) has listed the Star Fox Zero to release on July 15th, which corresponds with the Friday release that games see in Europe. Other retailers list the game without a release date, making Micromania one of the few known retailers to list the game for this release.
The retailer has an apparent history of revealing the correct release date for games and consoles, but without a confirmation from Nintendo it should be treated as rumor.
In the end, a delayed game is always better than a rushed game.
