Surprise Royal Rumble 2016 entrant AJ Styles will not be added to WWE 2K16 according to 2K Sports, but the door is seemingly open for his inclusion in future installments in the wrestling game franchise.
New DLC was recently added to WWE 2K16 and the most optimistic of fans were expecting Styles to feature; however, 2K has been quick to shoot down such idea using its WWE-dedicated Twitter account.
AJ won't be available in #WWE2K16 as all DLC was locked in ages ago. Going forward, we'll have to wait and see! https://t.co/kheBunLtJa

Styles recently put pen to paper with WWE, signing a multi-year contract with the company. The former TNA star made his long-awaited RAW debut on Monday, defeating Chris Jericho in a rather stiff and rough contest.
Timing might not have been on Styles' side this time around but WWE fans will be expecting him to appear on next year's video game.
In the meantime, those that are interested in playing with the 'Phenomenal One' on WWE 2K16 could search for a fan-made superstar using the Community Creations section.
