The Division pre-order access hits capacity on PS4 in some countries

Despite the Xbox One exclusivity...

If you're a PlayStation 4 owner that has been patiently awaiting a beta access code for The Division, there's a chance you'll be waiting forever. Ubisoft has revealed that they did not anticipate so many PlayStation players taking interest in the game and have shut down access to the beta.

Whoever has redeemed their beta code, will be able to access the beta — if you haven't redeemed a code or received one, you might not be playing in the beta, at least in some countries.

"We are seeing an unprecedented level of interest in The Division closed beta and we want to warmly thank our fans for their enthusiasm and passion," wrote community manager Natchai Stappers on The Division's forums.

"We’ve already reached the capacity of players needed to test the game and online infrastructure during the beta and to prepare for the launch of the game (on PS4) on March 8.  As a result, at this time we’re closing access to the closed beta through the PSN pre-order system."

Due to the capacity being met, 43 countries have been affected, mostly across Europe. You can find a list of the affected countries below:
