When not defending his belt, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson seemingly enjoys livestreaming video games for his fans.
Johnson was streaming the very challenging Bloodborne for fans the other day when he heard a strange knock on his door. Of course, anyone familiar with the livestream scene probably has a good idea of where this is going — swatting, right?
"One second, someone is knocking on my goddamn door like they're the police," Johnson says on camera. "[Who] the fuck is knocking on my door like that?"
Turns out it was the police or a case of swatting. Rather it was the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) who showed up at his door unannounced to collect blood and urine for a random, out-of-competition drug test.
Not only does Johnson comply and explain the situation to his viewers, but he also offers to introduce the USADA to the world of streaming. What's funny is that one of them appears already familiar with Twitch and can be heard in the background talking about it, although none of them want to be broadcast.
I've watched plenty of livestreams and seen some pretty weird sh*t, but this is the first time I've seen someone's stream get interrupted for a random USADA drug test.
Johnson (23-2-1) is expected to face off against top contender and former Olympian Henry Cejudo at an upcoming UFC event later this year.
