The first half of The Walking Dead Season 6 left some fans a bit disappointed with the lack of screen time for fan-favorite character, Daryl. However, actor Norman Reedus, speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Norman Reedus, assured fans his character will have "more to do" in the second half of season 6.
"Yeah, we’ll definitely have a steadier dose. I look at what they’re doing, and I look at the storylines, and they all completely make sense to me."
One major storyline possibly involving Daryl is with Negan and his Saviors. Following the midseason finale, a clip was revealed teasing the villain's arrival, while giving us a look at what Daryl and co. were doing during the swarm of zombies at Alexandria.
If you read the comics, you already know the type of character Negan is and how the show will change because of him. Yesterday, Andrew Lincoln (Rick) went on about the casting of Negan and what a great job he's doing.
"He is this incredible tyrant and this very charismatic, funny, brutal beyond words sociopath. I'm interested in the relationship between Negan and Carl and Carl and Rick. There's a very complicated, extraordinary psychology between those characters."
Hopefully, Negan doesn’t off anyone too quick, but you never know. He's a maniac. The Walking Dead returns next Sunday, February 14 at 9 PM ET on AMC.
