The Xbox One is getting an update soon, but don't get too excited – there won't be much coming with it. According to Xbox engineering lead Mike Ybarra, the Xbox One will see a minor update to the system aimed at making "small fixes."
In the next week or so you'll see a minor update to the system software in Xbox One. Small fixes, nothing major. #Xbox

Whether or not this mini-update will bring undisclosed items in preparation for the Summer update, we don't know yet. However, we can look forward to Xbox users mining the update's data and revealing what goodies have been hidden away in the files.
Previously, Ybarra hinted that the next Xbox update will go live towards the end of May or early June… So it's not too far-fetched to think that this update is in preparation for that.
