EA teases Battlefield 5 with new short teaser clip

Tomorrow is the big reveal

The official EA Twitter account has posted a new teaser ahead of its big Battlefield 5 reveal tomorrow. The teaser is a short 9-second clip that has out first look at presumably our main hero.

The tweet says nothing more than "Morgen" which is German for "Tomorrow", in which the reveal is to be made. It has been rumored for a while now that Battlefield 5 will take place in the past, presumably in the World War 2 era.

In fact, there are plenty of people on Twitter already trying to point out that the character in the clip is wearing some sort of jacket that was used in WW2.

Earlier this week, Senior Video & Media Director Roland Smedberg fired a playful little salvo in the direction of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare over the Reveal Trailer that launched today.  What followed was a series of tweets with fans that took shots at the game's use of depth of field and lighting as well as a hint of something to come this Friday.

Apparently a lot of people took offense to the tweets (naturally), and they have since been removed from the account. Smedberg later clarified that his shots were "all in good fun".

Tomorrow all eyes will be on Battlefields big reveal, so let's see if Infinity Ward retaliates with any shots.
