Rumor: Witcher 3 ‘Blood and Wine’ release date revealed

It's coming at the end of May

The release date for the Blood and Wine expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has apparently been revealed by a Steam store page, but was quickly removed once they saw the mistake.

People all over the internet caught the Steam store page for Blood and Wine and according to the page it will release on May 30 or May 31, both dates are being reported as the date seen on the store page. A release at the end of May fits with what they said earlier on the release window for the new DLC.

Even though the page was taken down, it was revealed by Twitter user Wario64 who had managed to get a screenshot of the whole page, showing the whole description of the Blood and Wine DLC. The Steam achievement list was revealed earlier, but this mistake gives fans a closer look at the new expansion of The Witcher 3.

He also got the full "Read More" page as well which shows that Blood and Wine will be 20 hours long and will be the last expansion for Witcher 3. Most of it isn't new, but it is the official description of it.

With the Heart of Stone expansion being about 10 hours and Blood and Wine being around 20, it seems like The Witcher 3 will be getting 30 hours worth of new content in just two expansions, making the season pass even more worth while.

It's not the first time we have seen something about the game's relese date, but at least this time it looks more official.
