The Witcher 3 ‘Blood and Wine’ will be that last DLC for game

It's the end, for this time

We basically almost knew it, but now the developer CD Project Red has officially said that The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine will be the last DLC for The Witcher 3, the last adventure for Geralt.

CD Project Red never promised anything more than the 16 pieces of free DLC and the two bigger expansions, but now it has been officially confirmed that there won't be anymore DLC for The Witcher 3, Blood and Wine will be the last adventure for Geralt this time around.

Speaking with Eurogamer game director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz made it clear that no new content for The Witcher 3 would be coming. When asked if this was the last expansion or content drop he simply answered "This is the last thing we deliver and we focus on Cyberpunk".

Tomaszkiewicz assured fans that they would keep on maintaining the game after the release of Blood & Wine to remove all bugs and issues

"The first thing is that we try to fix as many bugs as we can for the second expansion and the main game, and we will release a patch before we release the expansion and maybe one later."

Fans also shouldn't expect remasters of the old games, but they said that they might release a Game Of The Year edition with all the DLC, updates, and expansion in it for The Witcher 3, but they were still unsure about that.

For now all focus lies on Cyberpunk 2077.
