ARK: Survival Evolved releases ‘The Center’ map; doubles content on PC and Xbox One

Studio Wildcard announced today that they have added the player created mod, The Center, as an official part of ARK: Survival Evolved and is available for free to download immediately. 

The Center map originally started as part of Studio Wildcard’s Official Mods Program, which already has a ton ofi solid user generated content. The map is also twice the size of the standard ARK map, which ends up being roughly 70 square kilometers.

The Center is also packed with a variety of different areas including lava rivers, mountain ranges, misty floating islands, and underground ice caves.

ARK: Survival Evolved is currently on sale for both platforms at 33% off on Steam ($20.09), 25% off for Gold Members on Xbox Live ($26.24) and 15% off for Silver Members ($29.74).

ARK: Survival Evolved is set to release in full this holiday season after being delayed from its June 2016 release date. There is also a free-to-play spinoff game, Survival of the Fittest in the works that is set to release on PS4 for all PlayStation users.
