Konami is releasing a Metal Gear Solid 3 pachinko machine this Fall

This isn't what the fans were hoping for

Earlier today, Konami released a new trailer debuting its latest pachinko machine — Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater. The machine is set to release later this Fall, but from just the first 12 hours, fans have been making the voices heard.

At the time of writing, the pachinko trailer sits with 20,943 dislikes and 712 likes. This is a significant amount of people going out of their way to make sure Konami knows this is not what they want.

However, as you can see from the trailer above, the Metal Gear pachinko machine will be 32 inches and it will feature a whole new set of graphics. The new graphics were helped by using the same engine that was used for the latest Metal Gear games, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.

Obviously, these Metal Gear pachinko machines will only hit Japanese users, but how nice would it be to get a newly rendered MGS3 for the new consoles? Konami has stated already that they are moving away from  AAA game development, however, they also noted that a new Metal Gear game was already in the works, with or without Kojima's help.

With E3 2016 around the corner, perhaps there will be some sort of tease of what Konami's next step in the Metal Gear franchise is.
