Overwatch launched a couple weeks ago and ever since it went on to be the talking point for the future of FPS games. The unique spin the-the genre is something fans were desperately in need of and it shows. The game remains No. 1 in the UK charts, proving even further that gamers can't get enough of Overwatch.
As there are many great aspects of the game, many fans would like the option to play the game across different platforms and it looks like it could be happening. When the official Overwatch twitter account was asked about a cross-platform play, they said they'll definitely "keep an eye on it", giving fans some sort of hope.

Cross-platform play became a topic of discussion ever since the cars-meet-soccer game, Rocket League, kicked it up. Pysonix says that cross-platform play isn't too difficult, in fact, it's quite easy. This has many gamers wanting to square off against other console players and Overwatch seems to be a prime candidate. However, this cross-platform play would only take place between Xbox One and PS4, leaving out PC players.
