The God of War E3 2016 gameplay reveal trailer is now the most watched YouTube video of the entire conference

It's just that good

Looks like God of War is going to be carving out a spot on the YouTube Gaming Leaderboard pretty soon. According to a thread on Reddit, Sony Santa Monica's brand new God of War game has accrued over 9.5 million views since its debut at Sony's E3 2016 press conference. Just for comparison's sake, the Xbox One S trailer has 9.3 million views while Battlefield 1's E3 trailer has 9.2 million.

Sure, God of War has a while to go until it tops Battlefield 1's Reveal Trailer (not E3) which currently sits at over 41 million views, but its current numbers would give it a spot on YouTube's game trailers leaderboard.

One of the game's developers at Sony Santa Monica took to the Reddit thread to thank the community for its support. They said:

"Still crazy to me that the demo continues to get views. We definitely appreciate all of the support and excitement!"

God of War's success isn't terribly surprising considering how long it's been since we've seen an official entry in the series. What do you think of the trailer? Would you consider it your favorite or did you prefer another from E3 2016? If not, let us know what it was in the comments below.
