Square Enix has announced that the Digital Premium Edition and Season Pass Upgrade are available to pre-order now on the Xbox Store. The Premium Edition will cost $84.99 with the season pass, and those who have already pre-ordered it can also buy the season pass upgrade separately for $24.99 so it won't cost any extra. The pass includes a total of six DLC packs which will all still have TBD release dates. The packs are as follows
- DLC 1: Booster Pack (Working Title)
- DLC 2: Episode Gladio (Working Title)
- DLC 3: Holiday Pack (Working Title)
- DLC 4: Episode Ignis (Working Title)
- DLC 5: Episode Prompto (Working Title)
- DLC 6: Expansion Pack (Working Title)
Although there are no dates, it looks like the first three will be out this year and three next year, with the 3rd pack (Holiday) most likely landing around Christmas Time. Also, if you do pre-order on Xbox, you still get the following items for free.

- Recolor: 16-Bit Buddies
- Item: Angler Set
- Recolor: Platinum Leviathan
- Item: Camera Kit
- Xbox Avatar Item – Noctis male costume
- Xbox Avatar Item – Noctis female costume

Those who pre-order on the PlayStation store receive almost the same items with a slight variation
