Gamescom 2016: Tarsier’s Hunger is now Little Nightmare, comes out spring 2017

Developers are getting real good at "creepy as hell"

Last year, we saw a gameplay trailer for indie developer Tarsier's Hunger. It was a 2.5D puzzle platformer where players control a tiny girl as she makes her way through a nightmare fueled labyrinth beneath the sea. The visuals and sound design were superb, but the game had no publisher or platforms listed and seemed to have faded away.

Bandai Namco has since become the game's publisher, the name has changed to Little Nightmares, and it will be coming to PS4, XB1, and PC in spring of 2017. The Little Nightmares – Deep Below the Waves trailer from Gamescom 2016 shows that despite the name change, Little Nightmares is just as beautiful and creepy as it ever was, if not more so.
