The reveals for Pokemon Sun and Moon just keep trickling in, and this time, we get a look at the previously leaked sandcastle Pokemon. Sandygast and Palossand are the said sandcastle Pokemon and they look like the stuff of tournament champions. They are both Ground and Ghost-types, a combination never before seen in any other generation and Palossand's Pokedex entry is quite frightening. Here's the description from the official Pokemon website.
Palossand loves the vitality of Pokémon and drags small Pokémon into its body so it can steal their life force. Its sandy vortex swallows them up in a heartbeat! Pokémon dragged into Palossand leave traces of their ill will behind. It’s thought that this negative energy may be the starting point of new Sandygast…
Wow, that's dark, almost as dark as Drifloon tugging on the hands of children to steal them away. Just remember, Pokemon faint, they don't die! Lavender what now? Never heard of it.
Crabrawler is my personal favorite from the new set of Pokemon, though I am a bit confused why it isn't also a Water type given the fact that it's a crab. Then again, Pokemon does defy elemental logic at times so I'll let this one slide. Yesterday we got a look at Turtonator, a Fire/Dragon type and new forms and typings for some classic 'Mons before that, so it's quite the understatement to say that Trainers everywhere have plenty of options in mind for their first Sun and Moon teams.
