On top of the recently leaked images of the new PS4 Slim, the video of the PS4 Slim booting up and another PS4 Slim making its way to an auction site, yet another new PS4 item has leaked. According to rumors and a leaked video, the PlayStation 4 Slim will be coming with a slim DualShock 4 too.
If you've been upset about the DualSock 4's light bar being constantly lit up during gameplay, you won't be happy. A leaked video has shown off the DualShock 4 Slim, that features a light bar on the touchpad, facing you.
According to comments on the video, the new controller will be available one month before the PS4 Slim releases.
This new DualShock for will likely be for motion tracking in certain games, likely to help the PSVR and PS Move keep track of you. Rumors have been suggesting that Sony will slowly phase out the original PS4 and replace it with the two new versions: the PS4 Slim and PS4 Neo. If true, this controller will also phase out the original DualShock 4.
This move wouldn't be entirely crazy on Sony's part, they are looking to integrate the PSVR headset into PlayStation gaming. Streamlining their production would certainly make sense.
