Sony hasn't been kind to fans when it comes to The Last Guardian. The game has been in development since 2007 (it was revealed in 2009) and has taken us on an emotional rollercoaster that was almost too intense to recover from. Unfortunately, it looks like the wild ride is about to begin again…
Sony has announced their Tokyo Game Show 2016 lineup and guess what? The Last Guardian isn't there.
After showing off the game during their E3 2015 press conference, we thought it was over. We thought that Sony had finally ended the wild ride that is The Last Guardian, but no. It doesn't look like it will be as simple as that.
There's a possibility that the game has been taken off the list to make up for the PS3-like qualities and the "flat" textures that made the look "positively prehistoric." If that's the case, then there's also the chance it has been delayed… again.
Then again. This could all be our past experiences with The Last Guardian sending us into terror… Maybe everything is going to be OK.
