Oceanhorn 2 Knights of the Lost Realm was announced to be in development by Cornfox & Bros last week, just before their original Monster of Uncharted Seas released on both PS4 and Xbox One.
In Oceanhorn 2, our protagonist is a grown up and different kid than in Monster of Uncharted Seas. It is set along a different timeline within the Oceanhorn universe as he is training to become a Knight of Arcadia. One of the new weapon additions is the Caster gun, which will not only let shoot enemies but also lure enemies to you and other acts as it functions more as an omnitool. The game will draw on the same bright colors and 3D textured environments along with exciting storyline as they did in Monster of Uncharted Seas as well.
Another thing you'll notice is that it will utilize a traversable world map. While Monster of Uncharted Seas used islands and sailing from place to place, Knights of the Lost Realm will include a standard JRPG type map with forests, trees, deserts etc to act as a hub between worlds according to Cornfox & Bros.
